Bluebells watercolor, inspired by the bluebells found in the Botanic Gardens, Dublin
I’ve been playing around with the theme of couples a lot, as I’m coming up with an idea for a wedding present for some friends. I never knew lovebirds were related to parrots, but now I do, it makes sense…
Thinking ahead to Autumn, a collection of autumn leaves…
We’re having a lovely heatwave in Ireland right now. Seems like sunflower weather.
An abstract painting of many of raindrops, in black, white and grey, painted in ink and drawn over in pen. Painted during a rare dry spell in Dublin, we’re having the only heatwave of the year right now!
This is my first fairytale illustration in a while, but it was so much fun I think I might return to the subject matter. I always liked the part of the description on her in the story that said she had skin as white as snow and hair as black as ebony, so I was inspired by that section of the story.
Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend
